Trekking to Makkala Gudi Betta

Makkala Gudi Betta just 5 kms away from here. This place is called “Kodaikanal of Kodagu”. You can take view of around 180o from the gazebo. Watching paddy fields, villages and the nature gives the utmost pleasure to your mind and can receive the cool breeze to your body. You can also take a glimpse of the back waters of Harangi reservoir. Makkala gudi betta is named so, to mark the memory of the children involved in construction this unique spot. (All the cars will go to the top of the betta)

Trekking to Kote Betta

This is the third highest peak in Kodagu District (5400 ft above sea level) Trekking distance just 7 kms to Kotebetta from the home stay which measures 5400 ft is the third highest peak in Coorg. Kotebetta ranks third after Thadiyandamol and Bramhagiri peaks in Coorg. Kotebetta is a perfect place for trekking in Coorg. The best season for trekking is from October to March. A guide will definitely be of help during trekking. Any one can go trekking with proper trekking equipments and gadgets. The most important thing to carry is a torch, wear proper shoes, insect repellants, and a fist aid kid without fail.

Trekking to Mallalli Falls

Mallalli falls is situated in the foots of pushpagiri hills. It is a famous falls of Kodagu which is just 20 kms away, the water plunging from a height of 120 ft. Mallalli Falls is situated in Coorg and is around 260 kms from Bangalore. The exact location of Mallali falls is in Bettadahalli Gram Panchayat in Somwarpet of Coorg. It's is an eye feasting sight of river Kumaradhara gushing through the valley and falling into a gorge, with lush green mountains around.
